Son Goku – Dragon Ball (A Tribute to Kanako Eo)

This piece took major inspiration from Kanako Eo's work for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. His art has a stylistic flair and character to it that I attempted to bring out here.

The color of Goku's iconic Gi is taken from the yamabuki, a rose bush with a hue between yellow and orange. Akira Toriyama originally intended it to be this color, as can be seen in a select few of his illustrations.
